Chris Anderson will headline Confluence
We are beyond excited to announce opening keynote Chris Anderson.
Chris is a consummate thought leader, writer, and scientist. While Editor in Chief of Wired Magazine from 2001-2012, he also became a New York Times best selling author twice over with The Long Tail and Free: The Future of a Radical Price. His most recent publication Makers: The New Industrial Revolution is sure to follow suit.
He is cofounder and CEO of 3D Robotics, an open source aerial robotics company.
Before joining Wired, he served as a business and technology editor at The Economist. He began his media career with Nature and Science following a research stint at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His educational background includes physics at George Washington University and Quantum Mechanics and Science Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley.
In 2007, Anderson was named to the Time 100, the news magazine’s annual list of the world’s most influential people.
